The purpose of our institute is to foster co-operation and understanding within micronationalism. Its principal activity is to host the Conférences Dumézil, a series of occasional public lectures delivered by prominent members of the micronational community. Though strictly independent of any micronational government and managed exclusively by its fellows, the institute is erected under Corvinian law and enjoys a relationship of free and fraternal association with the Corvinian Peter Willmoes University. Its statutes and ordinances are online here. The institute is named after Professor Georges Dumézil, one of the outstanding figures of French intellectual life in the twentieth century and founder of the modern discipline of Indo-European studies. The motto of the institute is taken from the works of the Roman poet Horace and means 'to seek for truth'. To read a special message from our director, please click here. The Conférences Dumezil 1.
